I’ve been part of the Hamlets community for over three years, and it’s been a wonderful experience. The residents are treated with the utmost respect and care, and the staff are always friendly and supportive. The Hamlets has also given me so much room to grow, both personally and professionally!
Our Mom was fortunate to receive a room at "The Hamlets at Vernon LTC", as her cognitive abilities were in decline and she needed more dependable care than Assisted Living could offer at her previous place. Mom moved-in June 2024 and our family was always impressed, right from the initial tour with Audrey, to now 7 months later. Whether it's the care aids, admin staff, nurses, front desk, or any support staff, they've all been very helpful and available at anytime. Do not put your elderly parent into the complex care on the fourth floor of the hamlets. My father had his money stolen, his wallet and ID stolen, his body lotion went missing and the staff nurse was cold and uncaring. They tried to blame this on the elderly patients on the floor which would have been impossible for them to go through drawers and the wardrobe of the room my father was placed in. My father was fortunate enough to be able to afford this place because of his pension and we are grateful. He moved in a few months ago and our family has been impressed with the staff and the facility in general. A good size apartment and many services offered. I gave 4 stars only because of the high price of care.
