My daughter and I went to the Hamlets to Heritage room on the second floor to visit my pops today Dec 26 Boxing Day. The nurse came to the door of his room was very extremely rude to us saying we had to put mask on with no reason, as we weren't sure why, but we did put masks on. I did ask if there was covid and the nurse said no. But even when we left, the nurses at the desk by the door just glared at my daughter and I. They need to come out to Centennial Centre at Panoka to the Seniors Psychiatric Ward example Orion House-Wing and find out how a facility is run such as Doctors,Nurses,Nurses that give out the medication,the reseption as-when you come in,24 hour a day availability to gets hold of people example Nurses, Doctors.Maintenance Group,the food class #1 food-#1 in preparation,Lots of hot water when I have a shower,There is far lesser people work here and get-do a better job.
My grandma almost fell off of her chair and no staff were available to help her or let the EMS crew in overnight......
They need policies procedures and leaders. Check temp foreign workers and credentials of all upper management. Perhaps the BC owners, could respond in a couple things... Good luck and all the best. Lklandry
lack of communication, nobody ever calls us when my father is admitted to the hospital. We call to check on him as I work full time and my mother is sick as well so is unable to drive herself and they either say the nurse will phone later or the phone is disconnected before someone comes through. It’s been 13 days since he’s been admitted and not one person called to inform me.
