I would like to acknowledge The Grove at the Lake senior management and daily staff for their part in rectifying a situation that was otherwise unpleasant. Their outreach, concern, and agreement to hear me out and make the necessary changes for a more positive experience is extremely satisfying. End goal has always been fluid communication, patient health, education and respect. I feel that has been acknowledged and actively worked on. Thank you.
I would never recommend anyone be placed here as a patient. As someone who has completed clinical rotation here and seen what takes place - this facility is bottom barrel. Patients are overlooked and disregarded. The facility's cleanliness is at its lowest. The state of IL visits every other week because they fail inspection both for the facility and documentation management. As learning student nurses - you are disrespected, overlooked and underappreciated.
