Had a vibration in my Hayward Pool Filter…. Really loud… So I figured to try replacing the cartridge filter first since it gets all the abuse…. Only 2nd yr. for filter…. Went to Great Escape where I got my Filter system. Young fella at the checkout got to talking about the vibration issue. He suggested trying to trim the inside lip of filter off. Tried it with the old filter and it worked… 👍Thanks for the tip. And I have a new backup filter…. 😎👍
After shopping around I decided to purchase a pool at Great Escape because they had the best deal. This was our 1st pool. They were very helpful and answered all my questions. The pool was paid in full and delivered a few days later. At that point we waited for a installation date. Of course weather would play a factor which was understandable. GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY I am less than impressed with the customer service, communication, and overall lack of professionalism from the staff. Our sales rep, bill, was nice to begin with, but showed a lack of customer service once the sale was final. The price and time frame were right for getting a pool late this summer. Once the pool was delivered, it sat for over a week without any call for an installation date. I ordered my pool May 10, 2026. In the beginning Salesman Steve was great. He told us that if we paid $300.00 upfront we would be on the wait list. He stated installation would be around mid June and that approximately 2 days after pool delivery, the installer would call to set up installation date. The pool was delivered June 30, 2026.
