My feelings for this facility go up and down. A lot of times the communication to the medical nurses doesn’t get relayed and they don’t get the medication’s. This place is absolutely horrible. My mother has had so much stuff stolen from her room on a routine basis that it they should be ashamed of themselves. It’s horrible and they act like they’re gonna do something about it. They don’t give a shit. They just take whatever they want from her room anytime they want it and she’s lost over $1000 worth of stuff in a year. I’ve gotta find another place for her. This is ridiculous.

Ongoing concerns about quality of care and communication: My grandfather was a resident at The Grand Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center of Batavia, and our family experienced ongoing issues that raise serious concerns about the quality and safety of care provided. Overall, I had an amazing experience when I arrived at The Grand for my rehabilitation. Starting from my social worker, Angele to the wonderful nurses and nursing aids. My physical therapy team was by far the most patient, caring, supportive, gentle and encouraging team. I would like to give a special thanks to Ben and Abby, my physical therapists Who worked so diligently with me to get me back on my feet.
