I would like to thank the Good Wood Guys for the quality oak they supplied me for the restoration of my 63 chev 1 ton flat bed. The 1” thick oak for the bed was just what I needed. Then I ordered true 2x4 posts for the bed and the quality was excellent. The bed rail oak was amazing. I had them quarter turn the edges to save me time. The finish work was impressive. On 36 different boards I had two really small tear outs I was able to fix with sanding. In one day I was able to get 36 7 inch wide boards to a 220 grit finish. I ... read more
This is a long time coming upload I have had this desk for about 4 years now. I decide to use a softer piece of wood and did my first epoxy desk. I added heavy duty hardware to allow for. Sit or stand position of the desk. Motors can lift over 800lbs quietly. I ripped the two slabs and joined them. The rough sanded as I wanted to keep the natural look of the live edge. The Good Wood Guys are by far the most knowledgeable wood people I have ever dealt with. They have a varied array of woods to choose from. There prices are by far the lowest in the local area. Overall great experience.
This place is amazing, you walk in and they have so many types of wood. We were looking for a piece of wood to put on a ledge and be decorative. They are very very helpful, and knowledgeable about wood! We recommend The Good Wood Guys and plan to go back when we need wood!
