As we are approaching the end of the road with our relationship with Goddard, I wanted to restate how much we have valued our experience. Both of our children attended Goddard from ages 2–5 and 1–5. One is entering second grade this fall, and the other is entering kindergarten. Our daughter is thriving here during these critical developmental years before transitioning to kindergarten next year; and our son has started in the 2-3 year old rooms as well. After experiencing a different preschool in the area that was poorly run, lacked oversight, and had constant teacher turnover—with zero effort from leadership to improve—we knew we needed a change. TL;DR: Great teachers, incompetent leadership. Normal toddler behavior was handled punitively, and an ABA aide was suggested for a child who is not autistic. This school has changed significantly under new management. —— We enrolled our son here at age 1, and our daughter attended this same location years earlier under previous leadership – she had an overwhelmingly positive experience. We love the school! The staff and teachers are amazing. We love how creative the school is with engaging the kids and the parents. We would choose this school all over again if wr had to.
As an elementary school teacher, this is truly a nurturing, rigorous, and engaging program. Parents are given daily reports which show objectives, photos of exploration, and videos of songs teaching concepts. It is a great way for families to review the day with their children. Teachers such as Ms. Marlisa, Ms. Arnette, and Ms. Chardonnay connect with each child and work collaboratively to meet their needs. I am so impressed!
