I have had children at this Goddard school for the past 3 years. My middle daughter attended for a year in the Zebras classroom which did a wonderful job of helping her with kindergarten readiness as well as supporting her social development. Even two years later, she is still talking about her friends from preschool! Now my youngest has been attending since she was 5 months old (she is now nearly 2 years old). I was a bit nervous about her attending a larger childcare facility since I used alternative childcare arrangements... read more
Our son has been enrolled for about a year and a half and gone through the first 4 classrooms of the school. As first time parents, the infant suite was the perfect start for us. We got feedback every day and they helped us navigate ear infections, teething, food introduction, and learning to crawl and walk! The infant suite team made us feel part of the Goddard family. As we have moved through the toddler classrooms, our son’s vocabulary, social skills, and color/number recognition grew so quickly! The teachers were kind an... read more
I would not recommend this daycare as an employer or a safe place for your child. I was offered a job here and they also enrolled my daughter. I brought up basic health concerns like staff wearing outside shoes on the infant carpet, and instead of addressin... read more
My 3 children received exceptional care while at the Goddard School of Urbana and grew leaps and bounds as a result. All of their individual needs were met and my children enjoyed going to their classes where teachers fostered healthy friendships between classmates. Most recently, I enrolled my infant daughter who was born premature and required a strict feeding schedule, physical therapy, and other specialized needs. The infant classroom teachers (Amy & Laura) couldn’t have been more phenomenal or invested in her health and... read more
Our child loves it here! He's actually been going since he was 3 months old. That's fairly early, but my wife was ready to return to work, and it is what worked best for our family. His development has been great, and I feel he's very social because of his early exposure to other infants and adults. Huge fan of Goddard! Also, you get what you pay for. My wife and I looked at multiple day cares in the Urbana and Frederick area. My wife felt the most comfortable at Goddard.
