My son has attended The Goddard School of Montclair from the time he was 11 months (Infant Room) to 3 years old. The owner and director (Marie Anne and Alissa) are very attentive and the school is very clean and well organized. The teachers have been AMAZING. They are very warming, provide a detailed daily report, alot of pictures, and enjoy what they do. The curriculum is very play-based, but also provides STEAM focused activities that are structured. Absolutely horrible to their employees. And don't let them be employees of color. The director & owner have been beyond rude & unprofessional to my cousin who respectfully stepped down as she was dealing with a lot in her personal life. She went above and beyond during her career with Goddard, picking up when other employees couldn't make it or fell short, covering for others, dealing with MANY children in the room at once when there were supposed to be other employees assisting her and the director couldn't even REPLY to he... read more
Highly recommend! The teachers are fantastic - attentive, caring, and genuinely invested in the kids. The curriculum is advanced yet fun, and the environment is both friendly and nurturing. My two boys are excited to go to school every day, and I always know they’re in great hands. We couldn’t be happier here.

This is a wonderful school! The teachers are loving and nurturing. The director and the manager are hands on and personally involved in everything - they run a very tight ship and they're always there to answer questions and support the kids (and the parents!) There is a strong curriculum as well as many fun extracurriculars (soccer, ballet, cooking, gymnastics, water play etc.) This was the first formal schooling experience for our kids and it was absolutely fantastic. We highly recommend this school to everyone!
