[Note: I wrote this in March. I am posting it now because I have heard some recent complaints, and believe more reviews would be beneficial. Our daughter has been at Goddard for about a year, and we couldn’t be happier. The new admin team is kind, communicative, and truly knows every child by name. The teachers are the real gift—our infant teacher was calming, loving, and gave us so much peace of mind as first-time parents. Now in the toddler room, our daughter’s new teacher is energetic, fun, and engaging, and we’ve seen her grow and learn so much. 🚨PARENTS BEWARE🚨 We recently unenrolled our infant from The Goddard School (73rd Street) after just a few days due to serious concerns with health, safety, and lack of transparency. On September 9, 2025, rodent droppings were found in my child’s classroom. Parents were not notified at the time, and we were later told the problem was “resolved.” When I arrived the next day, droppings were still visible in the day care. Goddard has been wonderful for my child, with great teachers. Every day at pickup she seems to have learned something new and had fun!
