I highly recommend the Goddard School because of its low teacher’s turnover, clean and well-organized environment, and well-structured classroom activities. The administrative team and staff are warm, kind, and truly supportive, which makes a big difference in the overall experience for my baby girl.

I’m glad someone spoke up about this as now I see that the other review I read yesterday is gone, I’ve noticed many of the same issues with how the center is being managed, particularly with the director, Pam, who often comes across as unapproachable and dismissive or just purely unfriendly. It’s been disappointing to see these concerns go unaddressed, and I sincerely hope the administration takes this feedback seriously and works toward real improvements. The teachers at The Goddard School of Fredericksburg are exceptional—caring, dedicated, and deeply committed to the children’s growth and well-being. The students and families help create a warm, supportive community that truly reflects what early childhood education should be. Unfortunately, the administration—particularly the director (Pam Kestner)—has created an environment that undermines that positive foundation. We love Goddard our school so much! We can drop our son off every day, knowing that he is safe and happy. He has learned so much and has really developed a passion for learning. I’d driven past Goddard for many years, and thought it was the most picturesque little daycare I’ve ever seen, but used the daycare closer to where I worked. The minute a career change provided the opportunity to check out Goddard and transfer my son there, we did and it’s been the most amazing experience.
