We withdrew our child from The Goddard School (Verrado/Buckeye) in May 2025 after a classroom incident with a teacher - and a concerning lack of clear response from leadership. Our child shared that a teacher grabbed her arm during nap time and said, “If you don’t stop crying, your mom won’t come back.” She was also told, “Babies cry,” and asked if she should be moved to the baby room. My child had a great time here from 1.5 years old to 5 years old and graduating from the pre-K program. Every teacher she has had has worked hard to build her confidence. I feel like my child is well prepared for the transition to elementary school thanks to Goddard.

We had our 2 kids at Goddard, one for 8 months until age 1, and one for 2.5 years until age 4.5. We appreciated its proximity, its curriculum, and the caring teachers. Particularly it was very evident in the infant room that they really cared for their enrollees. Our oldest loved her teachers and friends, and her development progress was evident. The front staff was very communicative and always kind. We will miss Goddard!

Our children have gone here for several years and were very happy with it! Great learning environment, supportive staff, fun activities, and amazing sense of community
