My partner and I stopped into the General Store in the Fort Worth Stockyards today, and I just have to say how impressed I was. I really appreciate the manager, who I believe was named Eric. Our phones were completely dead, and while that certainly wasn’t his problem, he went above and beyond to help us. He found a charging cord, helped us charge our phone bank and our cell phones, and made sure we were taken care of. I had the most incredible experience at The General Store in Fort Worth! First, I was running late for a wedding and needed a gift bag at the last minute. The staff quickly found a large bag, added tissue paper, and beautifully wrapped the gift at no charge for the wrapping service. They truly went above and beyond. The selection was unique, with a mix of cute, thoughtful, and fun items that you don't usually see in bigger stores. The staff was friendly and gave me a few suggestions without being pushy.
