We are so happy to have found Gardner! As first time parents, we were super nervous and hesitant about any daycare at all, so after looking at many of them, we almost just stopped trying. We’ve been so happy with our experience at TGS Dedham. Our daughter started in the infant room in January at 7 months old, and we’ve already seen so much growth. The first few days were tough (mostly just for mom!), but now we wouldn’t change a thing. Her teachers, Ms. Milena and Ms. Adiza are incredible - so warm, caring, and attentive. We have been at the Gardner School since day one and absolutely love the teachers and administrators at this school! The teachers communicate so well, and always let us know how our child’s day went and how they’re progressing academically. A lot of the teachers and administrators are parents, and they treat our kids with so much love and care. Eileen and Anxhela are wonderful communicators and feel like great teammates in our children’s care and education. We’re so happy we found this school!
Our daughter has had a wonderful experience at Gardner since starting in September! All of her teachers have been so warm and loving and they are easy to communicate with. As a full-time elementary school teacher myself, it's comforting to know I can trust my daughter to be in good hands and that all of her social, health, and academic needs are being met.
As a parent, I feel the need to share concerns based on what I personally witnessed at this center. While many of the teachers are kind, caring, and truly dedicated to the children, my experiences with the director, Eileen, were concerning. On one occasion, I witnessed Eileen raise her voice at a teacher and say, “You will do it because I am asking you to.” The tone felt intimidating and uncomfortable to observe.
