Was talking to my step dad when the nurse came to give him his night meds. I could hear her say, that’s wonderful, you go back to talking to her, make sure you take these! And she addressed my step dad by his name. She sounded lovely.
I would leave no stars if i could, I know several people who were fired less than a month into them working there because they “aren’t where they need to be” even though they don’t train anyone whatsoever. They just get trainees to follow people around and they don’t show anyone how to do anything at all and expect trainees to be comfortable working nights alone with only two to four “training”shifts. Yet they complain that no one wants to work or they can’t find anyone to work
Perfect place to retire. Very quiet and clean. Staff are friendly.
A close family friend moved here over a year ago and was initially very happy. But every time I call her now she complains about how much worse the food is (since a change in chef) and particularly a lack of fresh fruits and veg.. She described a recent dinner consisting only of processed sliced beef, mashed potatoes and dessert. All the positive reviews of this place seem to be quite old - concerning.
