I really wanted to support this charity and was glad to donate several clean, usable pieces of furniture. But sadly, the experience left me disappointed. I was told collection would happen between 10am-2pm and that I’d get a 30-minute heads-up. No one called, so I chased the office at 1:30pm and was told the driver was running late but would definitely call me - but then I got crickets! Having dealt with other furniture projects I can only describe them as very expensive and delivery prices outrageous. However if you choose to go ahead the service is still very poor. Avoid!
I contacted Furniture Project to ask if they'd take a 2 seater and 3 seater settee which was in excellent condition. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it, had fire labels sewn into the fabric under the cushions and the lady, on giving her a detailed description on the phone said yes, no problem, definitely it would be very good for someone in need of this type of furniture.
