Professional and quick My agent referred me to The Funding Source. I heard of them before but didn't think to go. Within three days I had a commitment letter and I ready to close on my loan in 3-weeks. I never had that happen the other times I bought and refinanced before.
No matter where you go the process to get a mortgage is like a pat down. This place was no different. But their rates and closing costs were the same and they closed me, so i cant complain about them. but the process stinks!
thank you I met with Phil LaTessa and he sent me to his staff - I went though Marci and I have to say that everyone in that company treated me with respect and they were professional. I also saw that they were very meticulous in verifying my information and I knew they were true professionals. Ethical and honest and this needs to be said over and over about LaTessa and that company. Can't be said enough. Period.
I just wanted to say that the professional team at the funding source syracuse was great and that phil latessa was a huge help to me. that's all. they really assisted me in getting my financing and I'm grateful. I've heard how hard getting a loan today is versus a few years back - and these guys performed. Thank you
Its been two years still happy We all know how the mortgage world got tough but Phil LaTessa from Syracuse and The Funding Source from Syracuse pulled through it and were excellent. Thank You! – I've had nothing but a great experience with The Funding Source. Unfortunately, when people get approved for a loan and close they are happy and when they are declined or they are unhappy and write negative reviews. There is a 3rd class of individuals - those who don't understand that the mortgage world caught on fire and it's harder to get a loan today than it was 3 years ago. Beware buyers!!!!! This organization will do everything it can to get in your pocket. We have great income, great credit, and they were not able to deal with details that other lenders have. If it's not easy, they don't follow through. When they dropped the ball and stopped returning phone calls, they sent us a bill 4 months later for credit report charges! Crazy, really. Shop around and stick with the big lenders. They can't get away with this stuff. This company really can't either, but it's not worth the time to fight it.... read more

JUST CLOSED HAPPY!!! – I just closed my loan with The Funding Source. They had a lower rate then others and lower closing costs. I shopped it hard. I read some of the negative reviews before and i have to tell you it either sounds like the person was declined for a mortgage (makes someone really angry and i can understand that) or it sounds like sour grapes from someone who works there b/c just too much information.
