I ordered a "fresh" turkey in advance of Thanksgiving. It was supposed to be between 16 and 20lbs. I went to pick up the turkey, and was told the smallest they had was 21 lbs. OK. Fine. We'll have lots of left overs. But then, when I get it home and open that sucker up, it's frozen solid inside. If I had wanted a frozen turkey, I could have bought one anywhere else for less, AND had it thawed in time for Thanksgiving dinner. Never again.
I moved to Fresh Market from Publix due to the policy requiring all employees to wear masks. In addition to the fact that all guests were politely asked to do the same. Today I noticed an employee working behind the meat counter who was not wearing one. I was planning on buying proteins for the week but could not. So I settled for some prepackaged chicken breast. 7.5.2020 3:30pm.

RecommendedMy go to place for ground beef and chicken. No nasty stuff. I only buy seafood caught in the US so that can be found here. Bakery is very good also.
