So my wife's experience was bad. Unfortunately the young teens they have working there do not have the proper training to be sizing and recommending foot wear for runners. This young man insisted my wife needed to be put in a size 8 when that shoe swallowed her foot and would have led to blisters and God knows what else if she ran in them. I believe we will stick with Fleet Feet from her on out
I was so amazed and so thankful to discover how helpful Carolyn at The Foot Store is! I came in looking for a supportive pair to help with my foot pain, and she had SO many great personalized tips and recommendations beyond just which shoes to purchase. She really took the time to help me find what would be best for me and my feet specifically. She showed and thoroughly explained all the options I had without pressuring me to buy more products. She is so kind and made this a really wonderful experience- this is a great shop!

This is the only place to go in Charleston if you need running/exercise shoes! Alicia and Carolyn were the most competent, knowledgeable, and friendly people that I have met buying shoes. The are much more interested in the medical and comfort of your shoe than just making a sale. I recommend them 100%!
I don't know anything about shoes and they hooked me up with the most comfortable pair I've ever owned. If you need knowledgable employees this is the shoe store to go to.
