My mom bought us a $500 gift certificate for our wedding gift last year. My older mom thought a flag pole would be a great gift but we simply had no place for it. I'm sure my older mother didn't understand or think about return policies. I went to return the $500 gift certificate and they would not accept a return on it! I tried multiple times and basically begged for them to reconsider, for even less than the full $500, and they still refused.
