We opened up a fiduciary account for our little guy at the First National Bank when it was conveniently located down the street on Park Blvd in Massapequa Park. This is a bank that still seems to be stuck in the 20th century. Sometimes you want to try to support local and smaller banks and then you realize there are reasons you shouldn’t. I recently moved so I needed to update my address. This sounds simple enough. Unfortunately with FNBLI, you can’t update your address online and you need to contact them. I called and spoke to a Vivian at the Massapequa branch and she said email me a copy of a utility bill and I’ll update the address in my system. That should have been the end of i... read more
