We are lucky to have this caliber of full service shop in FC. The quality and selection of stock - machines, accessories, fabric, notions, etc. - is expansive. They service all Bernina machines, something other shops don't due to the complexity and the manufacturer's training requirements. The staff are super knowledgeable and helpful.You can browse on your own or ask for help, they will honor either option. I always visit this store when I am in town. Huge selection of fabrics and the staff are very helpful. They helped coordinate the fabrics I bought for my next quilt.
Nice little shop with a good selection of fabrics to appeal to a wide variety of tastes. I found plenty of sale fabrics I apparently couldn’t live without. The store workers were very friendly as we chatted while cutting my treasures.
The Fig Leaf has a great selection of fabrics, sewing notions, Bernina and Brother machines. The girls know the store inside and out and can help with pretty much anything! Classes are offered, and they even offer sessions assisting you through the quilting process on a long arm! I just did this with Connie, and I learned so much and I love my quilt even more!
