Good Landrum standby Farm House has been our go-to for years when we're up in Tryon/Landrum for shows. Recently, however, their hours seem to have shortened and it's been harder to stop by.
Nice People, Poor Bookkeeping Very poor customer service for their online returns. Policy is credit for purchase within 15 days of receipt (returns are required within 10 days). So far we are at about 25 days with no credit for a pair of boots costing over $400...may not be much to them, but it is to me! Have gotten two responses saying the credit would be within a day or two...that was over a week ago! Front end service was very helpful, but can't afford to shop here again! Love this place!! Great Service & Huge Selection! LOVE me some farmhousetack.com!! :) I'll admit I'm a tack junkie. :) This store is awesome. Every time I'm in town I hit Farm House Tack. There staff is super knowledgeable about everything they sell. They have the best selection and the newest trends in apparel.I've been shopping here for years both online, in the store and over the phone. Never a bad transaction and always prompt attention when I've had to return things.
Farm House Tack Shop Rocks! Wow! This place is like the Macys of Horse Equipment and riding Apparel!! The staff is insanely friendly, helpful and knowledgable! LOVE IT!! if you are ever driving trhough the area its definatly a place to stop spend a few hours and grab lunch! =) They even have 2 mobile units traveling to all the big horse shows in the south east! Terrible Service I ordered $800 worth of tack and supplies in late February 2013. After disorganized communications and shipping on behalf of the Farm House Tack team, I canceled one item from my order, a helmet worth $340. That was in early March. Since then, I have been going back and forth with the customer service team there, who each week has assured me that my refund will show up on my credit card statement the following week. Outstanding store for tack and apparel English riders. Everything imaginable for horse and rider in any English discipline. Our return policy has gone through a complete overhaul. Most purchases may be returned with a receipt within 7 days for a refund. Refunds are issued using the method of purchase by the customer. Sale item returns receive store credit or they may be exchanged. If you are unhappy with your purchase please call us and we will make every effort to make it right.
Worth a visit! Whether you need to pick up some good quality horse feed, tack or just interested in local happenings, The Farm House is a great place to visit! I love browsing the store, I can get lost in there for a couple hours at a time. Love the smell of horse feed and leather! Cute accessories and all the necessary horsey implements can easily be found with the help of their very friendly staff. Good prices, great stuff!
