My daughter spent 3 weeks at Good Samaritan following bilateral knee surgery earlier this year. Our family was blown away by the care she received while a resident there. The facility is immaculate and so welcoming! The hallways are decorated to celebrate each season. She loved the food and the daily activities. When her time at Good Samaritan was up, she did not want to leave. If anyone is looking at care facilities for a loved one, I would highly recommend visiting Good Samaritan!
In the spring of 2025, my special needs sister was admitted to Good Samaritan Waukon after double knee replacement. To say we were happy with her care was an understatement. She loved the staff, events, food, and spending her bingo bucks! We can’t say thank you enough to the care they gave her. When her stay was up she didn’t want to leave!! Also, they were unbelievably helpful navigating all of the paperwork involved. Truly a blessing. Thank you SO MUCH!
My Grandmother loves it here. She loves the food to. She says the staff is wonderful.
The staff are loving and caring, but there are not enough of them. A loved one had to wait over an hour with the call light on and kept buzzing to get assistance at night. It is probably the fault of those who are not doing the hands on work who determine the staffing.
