My father went here after a stay in the hospital. We had to remove him after just one evening because of the deplorable conditions.. To say that it was unbelievable, would be quite an understatement in his room. We found him alone, sitting up in his bed, which he wasn’t supposed to do .dirty diapers, all over the ground, and no air conditioning on the hottest day of the year. Beware! We selected the Estates at Excelsior under the impression it was located in a nice area and would offer above average services. We should have read the reviews! If a Zero was available, we would select it. The nursing staff seemed bothered to provide assistance. Communication from the social workers not existent. We attempted to transfer without success for 12 days... it was clear this is a for profit business. They pretty much kept our mother hostage. If you care for your loved ones...stay away... far away!
