My mother had many happy years at the Esplanade at Palisades, with quality, conscientious care. Then, on October 28, 2020, at the height of the pandemic, I believe the Esplanade staff exposed her to COVID by conducting a social event that involved removing her mask. That is, a wine tasting, (though a conflicting report describes it as a tea party). I believe the staff acted just as irresponsibly again on October 31, when she attended Jewish services there that allowed congregants to remove their masks to pray. Multiple re... read more
