The property at Independence Villages Fishers East on Talblick could be a good facility for independent living but the carpet in the hallways is stained and dirty and needs to be replaced, the cleaning of apartments is poor and inconsistent and the maintenance service for repairs is slow and often goes unattended. This is unacceptable for the cost.
Touring the location made it easier to see how family could move there, be cared for, and become a part of the community.
Clean inviting atmosphere, staff always around assisting residents and a full activity calendar with variety and fun for all different interests. Weekly trips, transportation available. Very nice community. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly. I’ve been a CNA for 5 years and never been to a facility that didn’t smell like poop. Sugar fork smells amazing. That alone won me over!
