Before flourishing into the robust community that it is today, the Emerald Coast Science Center was a modest center of learning that was put together with the support of Fort Walton Beach. Emerald Coast Science Center is a fantastic place for a family visit! We were thoroughly impressed by the variety of animal exhibits. The parrots and reptiles were fascinating, and it was great to see such a diverse range of species. One of the highlights for us was the outdoor area with the giant tortoises. It was amazing to see these magnificent creatures up close and learn more about them.
