i would recommend the dorm for: people with social anxiety/social isolation issues and people who have mild depression. i can’t think of much else that it could be helpful for, the program is too non-specific. people with eating disorders should not come here, because the program is not designed to treat that. i think it's irresponsible for them to list this as something that they treat. when i went to the dorm, there were only one or two people there for eating disorders and both of them had completely different issues. i a... read more
I enjoyed my experience here as a client, I felt welcomed and understood and completely safe. My time here was amazing and I feel renewed. 221 days later and here I am!
I don't know a more committed team that is as passionate about young adult mental health as The Dorm. I only wish they could help more people.
This place is truly wonderful. It provides thoughtful support to young adults in their journeys to self-actualization. It is truly life-changing. The staff are incredibly kind and are experts at what they do. I strongly recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with mental health.
My time at the Dorm truly changed the trajectory of my life, and that is not an overstatement! I entered the program with very little hope for the future and minimal motivation to keep going. The structure and accountability I found at the Dorm was deeply paramount to getting me out of that dark place.
