Logan is the man. Came in w a broken spoke and left w a freshly tuned bicycle. He truly went above and beyond to help me get back on the GDMBR as quickly as possible, in the best condition as possible. So grateful for his technical expertise and upbeat attitude. Thank you!!!
NOBO on the GDMBR when I ran into a problem with my Pinion gearbox. Figured no one local could work on it but brought it into Austin at Derailed. He got on the phone with the Pinion rep and they figured out the problem immediately. Pinion overnighted the new parts and a special tool and I was on the road again the next business day. Awesome service and support. This would be my new home shop if I didn’t live 2000 miles away. Thanks!
Riding the GDMBR when my rear tubeless tire was flat(couldn’t fix it) and I had to hitchhike 20 miles back to Butte for a repair. Austin was very helpful and kind. I had an emergency at home so I had to fly from Butte back to NY. Austin gave me a bike box, helped pack my bike AND gave me a ride to the airport 2 days later! Great guy, great shop and wonderful town. Thank you!
Riding the GDMBR and I ended up walking into the shop on a Friday afternoon with a seized rear hub. Austin was amazing, let me use a repair stand, tools and we got the problem diagnosed in time to get parts shipped overnight to my motel. Austin also lent me the tools I'd need to reassemble everything on Saturday when the shop was closed. He even drove my now rear wheel less bike over to the Motel after closing up. Amazing service, super nice guy! Can't recommend enough!
Riding the Great Divide from Canada to Mexico. Trashed the rear wheel on my gravel bike. The staff was !extremely! helpful and !extremely! fair pricing to get me back on the road the next day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
