Almost no shade, its a nice day but too hot in direct sunlight. Seeing people hiding in slivers of shade outside and around the restaurants is hilarious. Shade cloths, trees anything besides this wide open concrete and asphalt. These 2ft awnings do nothing, this is California people want to be outside and it makes the area feel more lively when people are. So make it inviting...
The parking situation at this mall is atrocious. Arriving at any time that isn't as early or late as possible leads to an endless loop of circling the parking lot, waiting for someone to leave, and competing with a dozen others also looking for parking. The shops, however, are excellent.
