WORST SERVICE OF MY LIFE I would give ZERO stars if I could. My husband, his friend, and I drove nearly 3 hours to get to The Cutting Room last night (1/16/13) and couldn't have been more disappointed and angry with the service.

My husband, his friend, and I drove nearly 3 hours to get to The Cutting Room last night (1/16/13) and couldn't have been more disappointed and angry with the service. We arrived at 6:30 and planned to go in and sit down for dinner before the show. This is a little late for us to eat dinner, so we were starving. We were told by the bartenders that we would have to wait until 7 to go in and sit down because they weren't ready yet. OK. 7:00 came and went, as did 7:30... read more
A classic Some talented people show up at this venue. As everyone know Mr. Big has a stake in it as well as Richie Canata. Have musician friends that love to show up at this venue on Monday nights to just jam. If your with the right people and not with people with inhibition issues, you can rock it on a Monday! Just have fun-they do!
Live Music Lounge This place has a nice lounge area in the front with decent priced drinks and good seating. The back doors open into a theater room with a large stage, an additional bar, and lot's of tables. I recommend the open mike jam session they have every Monday night, for free! Some talented people show up.
Good Music The Cutting room has a comfortable bar area where you can relax and enjoy decent food and drinks. They have live shows in a back room. Its a small performance area. You can find both cover bands and new artists. You have to look at your bill carefully. Each time I went there they included something from the person sitting next to me. I guess they assume if you talk to strangers you are buying them a drink too.
Cut the nonsense out at the Cutting Room...A great concept being fumbled. Mr. Big may not be dead, but his restaurant/burlesque venue has serious organizational issues. Went there for wife's b'day...big fan of show, not me. Still, calamari, burger, and crabcakes were fine, waitress was great. Had a great plan: eat, then watch show and have numerous drinks. Good entertainment... good times!! I have gone here several times mostly to see Liberty DeVito play the drums. There is a varied selection of food ... all good. The tomato and mozzarella appetizer and the sushi is great. There is ample seating and the staff is amicable.
