They decided to end the volunteer program. So sad to hear about this, as so many locals and members would help with the studios. I won’t be putting my money towards this place anymore. The director needs to be replaced. I was a student attendant in the wood studio for 4+years, and managed the wood studio as the wood studio manager for 2.5 years. This place needs to change. Clearly the leadership is lacking.
Annual sale was wonderful. So many talented artists and artisans.
I read the comment by d d and felt I need to leave a review of my own. I have taken multiple classes here and I am currently enrolled in the wheel throwing class. My last class was photography, right after they reopened from the pandemic lockdown it was great!! Hands on expertise, homework challenges, and a real-time feedback when you shoot pictures as a group around campus with your classmates.
