Stay away from this attorney. He failed to file a Motion To Vacate which led to my home being placed in foreclosure. He then, lied to the ARDC after I filed a complaint. Typing up my response to his lies now. He failed to do his job and had no interest in doing so after he got paid.

This lawyer is the most unprofessional. First off, does not even have a receptionist. Second, a work issue came up and had to reschedule my appointment and he told me he doesn't reschedule appointments to find another attorney to file with. I gave him a 24 hr notice. Things come up. Then told me he was going to block my number form future calls and texts. He must not be that busy if he doesn't want to reschedule appointments and keep clients. I'm sure he's rescheduled a few appointments in his time. Horrible experience.

My experience with Mr. Cortese was quite positive. He is extremely professional and to the point. I understand how some people might consider him "rude", but you must understand that he is not there to be your friend. He is there to conduct business, and in my opinion he does it quite well. He expects the same professionalism from us as we do him, and I'd expect nothing less. Think of it as a doctors appointment. If you are late or running into obstacles, you reschedule.
