The Cordwainer continues to prove it is the benchmark to which all other facilities need to strive to become. Art, Music, and foreign language programs brought out the best in mom, but it is the stability and quality of the staff and private ownership that makes this place sing. Mom was just plain 'happy'. Still love this place.
We were hesitant to turn to assisted living options for my dad, but when his needs became too great, we came upon The Cordwainer. There we found a lovely community solely dedicated to memory care with expert medical care, stellar programmed activities, a warm and friendly staff, and delicious food in a beautiful, light-filled facility. The Cordwainer has been a gift to our mother and our family. We visited many residences for memory care and The Cordwainer was unsurpassed for cleanliness and care. Now that our mother has been there for six months, we know the real gem is the staff. The people who manage and care for the residents are truly exceptional and happy to be working there.
