I was arrested and charged (wrongfully) with truancy in the summer of 2024. I initially appeared alone at my first truancy hearing in Iredell County, North Carolina, where the judge denied me court-appointed counsel and rescheduled the matter for a follow-up hearing on April 17, 2025.
