I had a very disappointing experience at this bank. I intended to open an account there because it is close to my house, so I contacted the call center to make an appointment, but no one ever got back to me. Today, I decided to walk in. When I arrived, I saw 2-3 staff members, but I didn’t know what to do next. I told them I wanted to open an account, and one of the staff asked me to sit and wait. Today (04/27/2023) I went to deposit and the beautiful lady cashing was so patient, welcoming and polite. I wish I took her name 😪 she had long hair, wore glasses, a navy blue blazer and red top. I have been banking with The Coop for almost 15 years and I have never had any issues. Today I called the Sandwich location with an embarrassing situation I needed help with and the woman I spoke with was short, rude, and had zero compassion for the situation I was trying to explain to her. I felt like I was an inconvenience to her day and she didn't even take the time for me to fully explain the situation to her and decided ti just make her own assumptions.
