I've had a very poor experience trying to buy custom closest from The Container Store and would strongly recommend that people explore other options. Experience has been filled with poor communication, limited responsiveness, poor quality on install and TCS not doing what they said they would do. - My journey started with an in-person design session in the store on May 20th. Terrible on line experience needing to return items. TCS expects customer to pay for return. With a large box, the cost was 2x what I paid for the item. Customer service was no help. Why don't you tell people ordering online about this expense. Online customers BEWARE

The Container Store, Orlando - so appreciative of ELFA designer Melissa W and her assistance with the re-design of my garage shelving system. Mel is a great listener, focuses on details and did a dynamite job of helping me re-configure my existing shelves with the addition of more ELFA pieces. We decided to call the Container Store and try their design services which are free. A time was scheduled for a digital meeting and we received an email with instructions on how to connect. Prior to the meeting we were instructed as to how to measure the space and where to send the measurements which we wrote on a form provided by the Container Store.
