We love living at Commonwealth at York. We are about to start our second year here. Mary Anderson at the leasing office has been the biggest help since Day 1. From giving me a tour of the apartment and explaining the amenities, being super flexible with my schedule to set up a time to sign the lease, being completely transparent about expected utility costs, to walking me through options for renewing, to going through the referral process of a friend, and adding someone to my lease. Mary is always willing to help and is very kind and friendly each and every time and genuinely cares about how you are enjoying your time at the apartment complex and handling any and all issues in a timely manner.

Commonwealth at York was by far one of the best places I've lived. The staff was always so helpful and extremely friendly. They really go above and beyond for their residents and make you feel like family. The apartments are beautiful and the clubhouse, pool and gym were always not very crowded and had everything I needed. I never had a problem at all living here. This is luxurious living at its finest. If you want the best place in the Newport News, yorktown, Norfolk, VB area you need to look here. You will see it for yourself. I am so happy that I lived here and I couldn't give it a higher recommendation otherwise I would have. Commonwealth at york has my highest recommendation, truly.

This place is probably one of the best apartment I moved into. The neighbors are great, location is great and it is pet friendly. The curb appeal is also awesome (inside and out). The staff is great and very friendly. I would definitely recommend people to move into this place!�

I've only just moved in to the apartment complex, but I'm already very impressed! Mary and the rest of the staff did an amazing job finding me an apartment that I love and helping me get everything sorted for the move in. The grounds are very well kept and everyone I've met so far has been incredibly friendly! I'm looking forward to the next year or so in my beautiful apartment!
