Most stores I saw had focus on clothing, so this quilt shop really stands out. I loved the colors and sorting!
I haven't been back to this store for years, maybe for as much as 6yrs., but the couple of times I have gone since its opening many years ago, I've felt uncomfortable with the service in that store. There's just something about it that turns me off. I see by the reviews that it is very popular, and that they offer sewing classes, which is a very good thing that I'm all for. I doubt that I'll ever go back to City Quilter, though.
Closed for business permanently sorry to say. They will be continuing to market their wonderful NYC themed quilting fabric on line I believe.
