I have purchased and been gifted raspberry truffles from the Chocolate Messenger for years. Unfortunately, my Christmas gift of raspberry chocolates from my son will be the last I request. The filling actually tasted awful. I don't know if an ingredient went bad, but the taste is totally different than in the past years. My previous gift to this box, the chocolates weren't sealed properly and some of the filling ozzed out.

Left an order last week, and it still hasn't been delivered! On the website during checkout, the estimated delivery was 1-2 days! When I call them, it goes through a full voice message!

This shop used to be great and I have been a loyal customer for years. It seems that the new owners have changed the chocolate recipe. From my understanding they used to make their own chocolate but now they melt down and reshape lindt chocolate to resell it. Also some products seem to be outsourced and not lindt as they taste different and cheaper. I would advise them to be more transparent about this.

Very disappointed. Placed my order three weeks before Easter. Order arrived after the Easter weekend, smashed to pieces. All cushioning was placed on top of the egg, leaving the egg unprotected on the bottom of the box. Probably a wonderful place to visit in person, but don’t have your order shipped. They did not respond to my email.
