Cheesecake was far too sweet and the base soggy. Unable to finish a slice so thats as bad as it gets Never had this experience before at this shop. When I rang to complain given it was for fathers day, I was told to send an email to the Lower Hutt shop. Given the price of the cheesecake, was pretty disgusted. When I went to find the email address for the Lower Hutt shop, it didnt work. Given the high price an expectation of a high quality product is a given expectation.
I ordered a fruit flan for my birthday. It wasn't a flan. It was a disappointment. It was still frozen when we got it, and it was just sponge cake with fruits laid messily on top of it. Although it tasted somewhat alright, it wasn't what I paid for. And the worst part is, the flans from this specific shop used to be so good—it's disheartening to see what was once such a prestigious shop's quality of what they are supposed to sell deteriorate. Called in on the 15th of August to order a black forest cheesecake. I used to order this directly through the store for a family member's birthday every year (but didn't last year). It's not available through their website. The lady I spoke to on the phone told me they can do it and she can take my order manually but because I had called at a busy time she would call me back to take my order. She never called me back. Got a mini cake and blueberry cheesecake 1/4 for my mum in hospital. Cake was dry and hard. Icing was disgusting. Cheesecake was average. Base was totally soggy and blueberries were gritty. Not worth the money
We always order from you, whether it's custom made cakes, cupcakes, lamington etc and have ordered the strawberry fields cake many times!! I'm just very dissapointed in the way it looks, appearance is so sloppy, looks untidy. It looks like you ran out of stuff for the top and just didn't care to make it look presentable! I have pics if the manager is interested in responding !!! It's my hubby's birthday and I'm rushing to the shops to make this cake look better. I'm not very happy.
