Very very bad and traumatic experience with Emma the shrink, I have express my bad experience to this hub but got no response, they only rush you to pay the money. I found no help but another trauma and waste my money as a student. The shrink is so unprofessional that she kept bringing up the things I told her I dislike and didn’t seem to trust me, every time I think of this experience I just feel worse, she never took notes after first session and showed her ignorance of my reaction. I worked at Centre for Better Health for over two years as a psychotherapist and couldn't recommend the place more highly. In my experience, everyone at the centre is in it for the right reasons. The place is deeply committed to helping clients and putting the right structures around therapists so they can be fully supported and grow. I love this place. The activities are amazing and reasonably priced, the staff are great and the counselling service full of people who really care about their clients. If you live locally, or can travel, then I recommend you give the Centre for Better Health a go.
I spent two years completing my clinical therapy placement at the Centre for Better Health. The warmth of the environment and all of the staff was so valuable, as well as the support of my supervisor and other therapists at the centre. The centre focuses on holistic care which you can feel from the moment you enter the space - whether it is to receive counselling or attend a pottery course. A brilliant place if you are thinking about affordable therapy/therapeutic activities or looking for a supportive therapy placement.
An excellent place for a range of therapies - very professionally run, excellent administrative support, experienced staff and therapeutic supervisors. I would recommend this place to anyone who is considering receiving counselling or therapy. I would also thoroughly recommend the Centre for Better Health if you are training therapist and counsellor seeking a placement.
