Where to start? The training the complete training is just 3 days how can you learn to be a carer for the elderly and sick in just 3 days? i was paid for the three days training but was paid minimal wage for a 21 or younger person im 44 they paid me £10.44 an hour instead off the 11.44 i should have got for my age and because i didn't start because alarm bells were ringing they refused to pay me until i had returned there uniform that they had issued me! Please make sure you have a union rep before seeking employment with this company. They make you complete training for free, before signing a contract. Even though it's against the law to ask anyone to complete trainning without paying them. Thankfully my union rep was able to have the money I was owed returned to me. I did not start working for this company as it's not transparent and fair for employees. It's been 6 months since I've joined the company. Started with full training and great induction which made me confident and pleasing. Management is great with any queries, it gets dealt with immediately. Staffs are lovely, atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Great potentials to know that where i know I'm going with my career.
