The Carrollton is a beautiful facility with great dining and a caring staff.
The Carrollton New Orleans is, in a word, lovely. I toured several assisted living facilities throughout the city when I was looking for a place for my father to move to after surgery and rehab. We moved my mom here a couple of months ago and have been so impressed with all the staff at The Carrollton. Every single person from Maintenance, Nursing, Housekeeping and Management has been professional, friendly, compassionate and so kind to our family. The facility is bright and cheerful and is a pleasant place to come visit. We feel so lucky to have Mom in a good place.
The Carrollton has been a wonderful place for my in-laws, significantly easing their stress and anxiety and allowing them to truly enjoy life without the burden of day-to-day responsibilities. My father’s health declined so rapidly due to lack of competent nursing care he was admitted to the hospital just two weeks after being placed there.. I meet a couple of times with the Director of Nursing and the Executive director and nothing changed. My father fell and they did not notify me. The outpatient home health OT found him bleeding and called me. They did not weigh my father or give him his diuretics correctly and he gained 17 pounds of fluid in two weeks.
