I gave one star because an cero start option is not available. This has been the most frustrating, aggravating, and unacceptable experience I ever have with a company. I arrange my daughter‘s car picked up weeks ago. James got my deposit and then disappear, never to hear from him again. We have been waiting for three days to get my daughter car picked up. This is a transport broker be careful. They do not actually own any of their trucks.
Reached out for a quote today. Called to ask about payment on the other end so the recipient can be prepared to receive the car. Was told by the agent that they will not honor the quote provided after I completed the entire thing. Very disappointed given the volume of cars we ship as a company.
Giving this business even one star would be too generous; it's completely unreliable. You have to drive several miles, and when you finally get there, nothing is coordinated. You might get a car that won't start, one that's missing the keys, or the person you're supposed to meet simply isn't available. All of this results in excessive wasted time for the driver, double the fuel costs, and no compensation. I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience with Car Carriage has been extremely disappointing due to the lack of communication and transparency from the owner and broker, James Taylor. I spoke with James for over a month leading up to my move. I asked him very clearly when I should list my car to guarantee it would be shipped on time.
