Great place for Older adults to meet and mingle.
I have had such an excellent experience with the BSRI Brunswick Center at Calabash. I work for a home care company, and many of our seniors frequent this location. They do such an excellent job serving meals to seniors and always have an array of activities and events for local seniors. We are so blessed to have this establishment available for senior in Calabash. Their director Heather Puglisi is so involved and engaging with the seniors - she is a Godsend to that facility!
The Center has been a blessing to me. Socializing with other seniors and making friends. I learned a new card game. The boxing class is done while we sit in our chairs. We have such a fun time and laugh a lot. I am trying to learn "Mexican Train", which is a different kind of domino game. There is even a little library area where you can take books home or read them at the center. Not having to eat lunch alone is very nice.
Always something happening for seniors everyday. Great lunches and wonderful staff.
