This facility is over priced, neglectful, lack of cleanness and not state licensed. My Mom was in memory care for 3 too many years. Moms room was rarely cleaned, she was left in soiled undergarments and clothing, they lacked in showering her, when we moved her out her glasses were gone, her hearing aid and her dentures. I found staff sleeping on the couch in the unit. Her clothing and bedding would come up missing. I felt staff threw them out. 100% if you care for your loved one this is not the place for them! They are not state licensed. Memory care was so awful for my grandmother to be in. They give out expired medicine ( 2 years expired). They don't check on residence that need help as often as they should! My grandmother had to crawl out to hallway after being on ground forever to get help! No one cleans like they should which 100% falls back on the management but they are so oblivious to everything that happens! Had to get her out of the place! It was very sa... read more

Both my mom and dad were in Memory Care at the Brook. Lacey and her ENTIRE staff are dedicated, compassionate, and attentive! Mom passed away in January and dad passed away in May. I’m so blessed that they were surrounded by such wonderful, caring people during this time. If you are seeking placement for a loved one, I highly recommend the Brook of Grayling!! We spent a lot of time at The Brook, and I feel that we will always have our Brook family!

Our family couldn’t have been more appreciative of Lacy, Carol and Miranda. Who helped us understand what dad’s brain was going through. The entire staff is upbeat and very perceptive of the needs of the community at the Brook. The facilities are always clean and a very comfortable environment. The memory care facility is wonderful and the residents seem happy in their own way. The assisted living apartments are perfect size and some have a patio.
