It was definitely one of our top 2 choices. It really came down to availability. Premises were lovely and especially clean. Staff was so friendly. We really could see our loved ones happily living there and more importantly so could they.
My mother in law has been at The Brook at least Five years now. The staff has taken very good care of mom and her needs and I know they will continue to give her the care and love she needs. I trust the staff with her care completely. I live a few hours from her so it is important to have a place you trust with your family members care. I would definitely recommend the Brook of Gladwin to others who live within the vicinity of this community. Blessings-Linda
The Brook in general is not too bad. Unfortunately, the somewhat recently new Activities Director Christina is ridiculous and quite the drama queen. Not sure where she got her crown, but it is quite tarnished. Needless to say, not fun to be around and creates a toxic environment. Until there is a new activities director, my family members will no longer be considering this facility.
The higher ups treat there staff very badly no one should get treated better than anyone else. I was a CNA for 20 years and never have I been treated so badly as some of the staff that works there now and they can't keep a manager they have had three managers in the last three months it's just unreal!
