I hired Broderick- Villa to write a response to a Motion to vacate and a friend of mine could have drafted a more professional response. There is also the problem that I requested several phone calls and Broderick-Villa refused to speak with me. He only had a phone call with me AFTER I fired him. He also only improved his communication via email and one "phone call" that wasn't really a phone call AFTER I fired him. Do not expect to speak with or get email responses from this attorney. Unprepared and unprofessional. Did not prepare an ex-parte motion as promised and the response did not address items in the motion so I’ll be looking for new counsel. Additionally, Broderick never communicated with me about what happened in court and does not respond to emails. A meeting date after the next court date was offered to me. If a full refund is not offered I’ll be reporting all of this to the CA Bar Association.
